This is not really an issue if you have Good support. Customer report an issue and if the provider resolves it in 10-15mins. no real complaint. We have 2-3 of most channels so If one goes down you have a backup while we fix the other.
You shouldn't have to be annoyed going in their support groups when you're only paying pennies per day on the service you're getting. Everyone is pretty much paying 30 Cents per day or less. Even if you sub on a 6 months deal for $40, watching 1 PPV event, you got your money's worth for the whole six months. Plus, watching your favorite sport/team, several movies in the VOD. That should be enough to not feeling annoyed.
But if you still feel like it's an annoying service, you should sub to DirecTV Now for $40 per month or HULU. Then, you don't have to go on any discord.
As a provider if a client has an issue you try to get it sorted ASAP. There is so many providers to choose from customer service has to be a priority!
