Recommendation/Reseller Request: English Language News & Sports on PS4

Greetings,

I am looking for a provider for primarily any and all worldwide English language sources for news and sports.

The only non-negotiable is that I must be able to watch on PS4 . (Please note that I've fiddled with xTeVe and Plex for hours, and I can't get it to work. Yes, I know, it's really easy and I'm a moron. So, before I take the plunge, it must be demonstrated through a trial that it can work on PS4, whether through the browser or Plex or anything else.) Being able to watch on an iPad would be a bonus but, bottom line, I won't spend money if I can't watch it on PS4.

Anyway, here is my "list of demands," in order of preference:

  1. Must be able to watch on PS4
  2. Sports: MLB (including MLB Network), NCAA, English football (both Premier and Championship; lower tiers, so much the better), worldwide cricket, NHL (including NHL Network), pro wrestling (including the WWE channels)
  3. News: literally any English language news channel out there, from all over the world wherever English is spoken, including those dedicated solely to finance and sports; as well as the C-Span range
  4. Outdoor/hunting channels
  5. Worldwide English language radio would be cool...
  6. VOD movies in theory, although the ones I've seen are 99.9% crapola
  7. Any movie channels that show older movies, especially Westerns and kung fu (with English subtitles or dub!)
  8. I honestly don't care about any other channels but I probably can't do an a la carte set-up...

Assuming you're a re-seller, I'm happy to purchase a weekend (or longer) trial period. If that works, I would like to purchase a month; and, if that works out, I'll go for a year or otherwise the longest option.

The ps4 part means your scope is limited to web players/plex/emby. There’s are live tv sources out there but many of these guys want you to know what your doing with emby or plex first before hand.

  1. Thumper iptv player might work through your web browser if you don’t want to use plex or emby. Not sure they support Sony’s web browser.
  2. if thumper works skys the limit as any M3u line will play
  3. most have tons
  4. some age carried but often are the first to go channel wise
  5. some have that content
  6. Plexshare don’t bother with Iptv Vod
  7. you need to do the research first to find out what channel shows that content and then ask resellers if they have it
  8. Another option install Linux on your ps4 and yes there are ways, this will allow you to boot kodi which would open a few doors for you in terms of one stop shop.
