Depends on the service and the reseller.
Some services have so many clients, they are unable to contact them all in a timely manner should there be an issue.
I, as a reseller with a much much smaller client base, can easily give one-on-one support to each of my clients.
If a client has a source issue, I can easily verify and then send it up to the admins.
I charge the same as purchasing direct from the source.

Most resellers buy in bulk so they can offer cheaper, the more customers they have usually tends to dictate what level of support they get from the supplier thus meaning they get priority so can also offer better support
