Interested in IPTV for first time but somewhat overwhelmed by choice

by leew1988

Hi all

All of a sudden since the last 2 weeks or so, my Facebook newsfeed is flooded with sponsored adverts about different IPTV services, I think they are 'resellers', even on the stories.. This probably has something to do with cookies because I was looking at a paid satellight service, the big UK one so yeha thats my only theory why I am seeing so many IPTV services.

I have already tried one of these IPTV services because they offered me a free trial which worked with an app on my LG TV... first glimpse it looked amazing because there was like every single channel on there and they only wanted £10 a month, but then when I came to actually use it, hardly any of the channels worked........ Not even bog standard BBC One.

I commented on one of the advertising posts on Facebook simply asking "There are so many of these all of a sudden, how are we meant to know which are best", then ofcourse my inbox was flooded by users telling me to try another..... most likely competitors.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction to some of the better proven ones out there? I understand IPTV doesnt work 100% of the time but I would say for me, a better provider would be one where the service is as close to 100% as possible etc etc.....

Sorry for the long post but hoping someone can help

Take advantage of the fee trials offered by most services and stick with the one that works for you the best. Also keep in mind that if you're in UK you might have to use vpn when premiere league is on (maybe thats why none of the channels worked for you when you tried)

Reading around on reddit, taking the advertise as told, to read the iptvreviews but they are literally just full of dozens of reviews from people telling me who to avoid......

For all we know they are just competitors being sly telling us to avoid their competitors, so not real reviews.

Also for those wondering, channels I am mainly interested in would just be whats typically on UK SKY... Entertainment/Cinema package, I dont even care about sports.. not my thing

I was in the same boat, but essentially I tried a bunch of trials and found one that I really like. I'm trying out some other ones now as a backup in case something happens with my main one.

Basically trial as many as you can until you find one that has what you're looking for.

I want one with a nice TV guide that's easy to view and browse, which is responsive that works well...
